Our user’s Empathy Map :

The empathy map offers an insightful glance into young parents’ lives as they embark on the transformative journey of parenthood. It illustrates the crucial balance between seeking advice and filtering through the noise of contradictory opinions they encounter. Parents navigate through fatigue and the pressure of perfection while cherishing their child's happiness above all. The map underscores their resourcefulness, from consulting experts to engaging with communities online. This visualization guides our UX/UI designs, ensuring our digital solutions resonate with the real-world experiences, alleviate pain points, and amplify the gains of our core users: the new parents navigating the early stages of family life.

Your child is sick and is not responding to your questions. Due to his age, it is difficult to fully understand his needs. You find yourself in a struggle and do not know how to act. So you called the emergency.

Few weeks later, you find youself on your freya app, where you discover this class about nutrition and health issues. You remember the last events and you decide to take the time to participate to this course. You do not want to relive that past experience.

You take the time to follow each step of the course. It is structured in a way to make you feel like you gain knowledge in the less time possible.

As you finish the courses, you get the feeling that you have learned a lot of new information. However this fear of failing as a mother is still omnipresent and you are scared to feel guilty.
You remember that Freya offers the possibility to discuss with professionals. You decide to give it a shot and take some time to get some other insights from another person. Getting validation is never a waste of time !

After your discussion with the doctor, you feel reassured that you have the right skills to manage any complicated situation. As a young mother, you feel a weight off of your shoulder, you feel more prepared and you are opened to share with others in need !

Place Holder Map :

In the landscape analysis section of our project, we positioned 'Freya' in the context of current offerings, drawing sharp contrasts between community-driven platforms and the nature of information they provide—certified vs. non-certified. Through this analysis, we distilled key insights that informed our UX/UI strategy. We observed how platforms like 'Parents.' and 'YouTube' offer a vast array of user-generated content without professional validation, versus sites like 'Tinyhood' and 'pediatre-online', which provide expert-verified information but lack community engagement. 'Freya' is uniquely placed at this intersection, leveraging the trust of certification with the warmth of community, setting the stage for a platform where parents not only learn but also connect. This comprehensive understanding of content types and user engagement became the bedrock for designing 'Freya' with a clear value proposition—trustworthy, professional advice within a supportive community network.
